COMPANY INFO Patent Agency Leitzinger Oy was founded in 1935 by Edward Leitzinger, who was born in Russia and moved to Finland in 1917. He was actively involved in the promotion of inventing in Finland , for example, through newspapers and radio programs. Thanks to his cosmopolitan background, he was also able to establish international contacts. At present Leitzinger Oy has 25 employees, many of whom have been with the Agency for more than 20 years. Matters relating to patents, designs and utility models are handled by 7 patent experts covering various fields of technology from electrotechnology to mechanics, automation and chemistry and also having experience of legal proceedings in the field. Jorma Leitzinger , jr. is responsible for functioning and development of our in-house developed data software, data system and the related network. Our trademark personnel is qualified to handle all the stages relating to the preparation and prosecution of trademark applications. We also carry out trademark searches, consulting in trademark issues, and drafting oppositions, appeals, replies and petitions. Further our personnel have considerable experience in different types of negotiations, including trademark infringement cases and of litigation.
